Cranhill Christmas Fayre

 
We are super excited to announce that we will be hosting our Christmas Fayre again here in Cranhill on Sunday 17th December, 11:00am - 3:00pm @ Cranhill Beacon (see poster for details)🎄🎅

Last year was a huge success, and we felt it was important that we brought it back to the community! 😁

We have a fun-filled day planned for all, including:

👯 Entertainment
🖌️ Face painting
🎅 Santa's grotto with the man himself
⛄ Snowglobe
💰Indoor marketplace with various tabletop sales from local sellers
🥳 Tombola stall/fundraising
And much, much more!!

This is the perfect opportunity to grab yourself a last-minute stocking filler for someone, as well as have some festive fun with friends and family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧

❗This event is FREE to attend along with the visit to Santa's Grotto and a picture in the Snow globe ❗
(Please note that the marketplace is NOT free if you wish to purchase any items)

We have a limited number of tables available for hire if you wish sell some goods! These are priced at £10 per table.

Christmas in Cranhill 

As the festive period is upon us, we are asking if anyone would be able to show some extra support to CDT to help us make Christmas as memorable as possible for the whole community! 😁🧑‍🤝‍🧑We are hosting several different events here at CDT and we are needing some extra funds to help support these (see link for details)

New: Baby Sensory & Fit By Five sessions are on every Thursday at CDT.

Both sessions are drop ins and are open to all families!

Glasgow Kelvin College has launched their new Community and Youth Hub at their Easterhouse campus. It will run Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5pm - 8pm.

 

Everyone is welcome and food is provided on both evenings.

NEW Young at Heart Activity Workshops

Our Young at Heart activity workshops run every Monday from 11am - 2pm. We will have different activities each week including Arts and Crafts, Sewing, Fitness, Carpet Bowls and more. 

This is a safe and welcoming space, where everyone is welcome! Come along and try some new activities, get active and make new friends.

This is a free event, open to everyone over 50. We hope to see you all here. 

 

 

NEW Baby and Toddler Support Group

Are you a new mum living in or around the Cranhill area?

Join us from Wednesday 26th October for a weekly Baby and Toddler Support Group. 

Our weekly group will be held on Wednesdays, from 10am - 12pm, at CDT and is a safe and welcoming space for new mums to come together with their babies. Meet other local parents and chat about all things baby, from feeding to surviving sleep deprivation! 

We will provide tea, coffee and refreshments. Peer support volunteers from The Breastfeeding Network will be on hand to support both breast and formula feeders. An NHS Health Visitor will also be available to provide support and guidance. Older kids are welcome to come along too.
