Govan Community Project

Govan Community Project is a Scottish Charity, based in Govan, and supports the diverse communities in their local area, while supporting refugees and people seeking asylum across Glasgow. Their aim is to build a strong community based on equality, mutual respect, support and integration.

“It’s great for Govan Community Project to be working alongside Cranhill Development Trust with the aim to provide the best support possible for everyone living in the local community, including refugees and people seeking asylum. It’s so valuable to have a physical space where people can go for support, advice, social connection and much more!”

– Emily Edwards, Asylum Support Services Manager

Govan Community Project hosts an Advice and Advocacy Service every Wednesday at CDT from 9-5, for those in the asylum process.
